Www sims pets 2 com

A dog's size affects how long its adult life stage will last. A small dog will live for 25 days as an adult, while a large dog will be an adult for 22 days. Aside from that, small and large dogs are treated the same.

The wolves that are sometimes seen wandering the neighborhood, including the leader of the pack whose bite creates werewolves , are a variation of large dog. Other than the pack leader, they can be adopted like other strays.

Wolves can be bred with dogs. After a dog becomes an adult, a Sim can stroke the dog, rub its belly, or feed it a treat. Sims can play fetch with a dog, or can play a razzle game with it.

A Sim can take a dog for a walk, which will relieve its bladder need. Dogs can also dig on empty terrain, which will lower their hygiene motive and leave a hole that must be manually filled in. They will also greet mail carriers as they arrive on the lot. Unlike their counterparts in Unleashed , puppies in Pets are mobile and largely self-sufficient. They can feed themselves, if there is food available, and sleep on pet beds without the help of a Sim or their mother.

Puppies can also learn behaviors , so they can be housebroken. However, puppies cannot go up or down stairs without the help of a Sim. If a house is on a foundation , even a well-housebroken pup will need a Sim's help to relieve its bladder.

Also, puppies cannot get jobs or learn commands. Puppies are all the same size, regardless of what size they will be as adults. Dogs are also able to get their own careers. There are 3 pet careers: Show biz , Security , and Service.

Dogs have the same needs as human Sims, except they need to chew and they don't care about environment. Dogs in The Sims Pet Stories are just like the ones in The Sims 2: Pets , except that they can use story reward objects such as a-frames, tunnels This does not mean that the selection of pets is limited to canines and felines only.

You can also own birds and hamsters. These two animals, however, prefer to stay inside their cages most of the time. In most cases, they will learn and adopt the same attitude your human sim has. Also, dogs and cats have the tendency to act independently. When you leave them unsupervised for long periods of time, they can become rowdy and wild. This can lead them to destroy things inside your house like your furniture.

To avoid this from happening, keep a close eye on them and never forget to praise them when needed but that does not mean you should refrain from scolding them. You should have a balanced way of treating and approaching your pets. Just like human sims, your pets can also interact with other animals and get friendly with them. In some instances, the friendship between pets can evolve into something more and before you even know it, you already have a bunch of baby animals under your roof.

Taking care of so many pets can be challenging but who can say no to cute little puppies and kittens? If you are worried about overcrowding, then rest assured that it will never come to that.

The number of pets you can keep in a household depends on the number of human sims living there. Gameplay: As mentioned before, the game takes elements from two completely different simulation games and mixes them together.

But they take the worst elements of each one. The veterinary job implies a few simple mini-games you'll have to perform over and over again. It's not innovative and the whole game UI is terrible.

I use the stylus a bit too much to be comfortable to play. Sound: Usually the soundtrack is great in The Sims games. That's not the case here. With a pretty dull soundtrack and low-quality melodies. Remember how in there was an expansion pack for The Sims called Unleashed?

It had pets in it - really oddly animated pets. Well, here's your chance to buy it again, this time for The Sims 2. Also, for no reason at all, Hilary Duff is in it! Because kids like Hilary Duff! To be fair, this is probably the expansion pack Maxis were least unwilling to make -in fact it probably only required minimal whipping at the hands of EA to produce.

This enthusiastic approach to The Sims 2: Pets has resulted in a decent release, and looking past the mindless inclusion of Simlish covers of Pussycat Dolls songs "flerpdee wah wah krakawaka woo woo" being an improvement over their actual lyrics , there's actually a lot of genuinely great content to be had. The Sims 2 engine, which no longer restricts movement to tiles, means that dogs and cats can move about with a modicum of realism instead of running only at degree angles like some demented autistic creature.

The ability to customise your human characters has been applied to the pets too. They have also made sure that the game plays very well on both the PC and the console versions. The Sims 2 Pets is now available for purchase on the retail platform and comes with all the same content as the other versions of the game. The only difference is that now there is a version available for the PC, where the game was remade to support the Windows operating system, which is better suited to PCs.

Now there is a whole new selection of pets to choose from, each with its own special skill, personality and style. There are even more pets to come out of the beta testing stages, and I am sure there will be a lot more to come.

The new Pets are great additions to the game, and now you can play with your pet in the main version as well. It's one of the best kept secrets of the Sims series, and everyone who has played the original game should buy The Sims 2 Pets now.

We don't have any change log information yet for version 2 of The Sims 2 Pets. Sometimes publishers take a little while to make this information available, so please check back in a few days to see if it has been updated.

If you have any changelog info you can share with us, we'd love to hear from you! Head over to our Contact page and let us know. This game will be.
