All Graduate College waivers are requested by the academic program, not directly by the student, and in order to receive an allocated waiver a student cannot have a waiver from another source on campus.
Graduate College students who have won a fellowship, grant, or been assigned to a training grant with a substantial stipend may be eligible for a tuition and fee waiver. Fellowship and grant recipients who are interested in being considered for a tuition and fee waiver should have their director of graduate studies or program staff member complete the online fellowship waiver request form.

Students enrolled in CampusCare for a Spring term may purchase coverage for the summer break even if they do not enroll in summer classes. Students who are not enrolled in CampusCare for Spring and do not register for the Summer term are not eligible to purchase summer coverage. Coverage under CampusCare begins on the first day of the term and ends on the first day of the subsequent term.
Premium rate information for students and dependents is available on the CampusCare website. The Student Health Insurance Fee premium is billed with tuition and payable in full unless a waiver is approved. Students enrolled in academic programs that begin earlier than the term dates identified will be assessed an additional fee to cover the extended benefit coverage period.

Students studying abroad are required to purchase international health insurance coverage specifically designed to cover services provided outside the United States.
