Position Summary: Responsible for the manufacturing assessment of non-conformities, late changes to support production, on-site training of new manufacturing engineering employees, and updating master data for the documentation package that accompanies the aircraft.

Provide technical support to production on all issues including oversight of directed changes. Initiate availability of replacement parts, jigs, and tools required for work. Manage continuous improvement measures with reoccurring non-conformities in cooperation with quality. Analyze current status, create reports, exchange information and regularly inform the European manufacturing engineering back office about all notified changes in production.

Additional Responsibilities: Participate as an active team member including providing orientation support to new colleagues and trainees. Initial training depends on the qualification level and will be up to 18 months to cover all aspects of manufacturing engineering.

Responsible for incorporating implicit knowledge into these instructions and refine them in terms of language, level of detail and regulation assignment to ensure operations has the correct information for the aircraft build. Knowledge of supply chain management and quality system management. Knowledge about non-conformities and design query notes. Knowledge about aircraft structure installation. Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and practice Communication Skills Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages : Proficient knowledge of basic written and spoken English. Ability to work a first shift or second shift schedule.
