I go through your steps but there isn't a "Save" button to save the change. How do I save the change. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. The narrator box was unchecked to begin with and I cannot get rid of the sound and that stupid blue line all over my screen. You're a gentleman and a scholar!!! How annoying was that? I called HP customer service and much to my suprise they could not figure it out after being on the phone for an hour. It should be made easier to disable this feature which I am sure is wonderful for those who need it.

I was having the same problem with the On-Screen Keyboard opening every time I Administrator logged on. OSK is not as irritating as narrator, but it was still generally annoying because it would open about 3 minutes after log on. Very nice!
